Boston Medical Center seeks a Surgical Technician OB (OB Tech) to assist in the Labor & Delivery OR, coordinating activities to maximize patient flow and maintain a safe, efficient L&D environment. The role includes direct operative support and sterile processing duties, with a focus on cost-effective supply management.

The position is part-time (24 hours) in the Labor & Deliver department. Requires a surgical technology program graduate with current certification, or equivalent OR experience,

Formación

• Requires minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of surgical technology program with current surgical technician certification or equivalent OR work experience.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing school program is acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate activities in the Labor & Delivery OR to maximize patient flow.
• Provide direct operative and central sterile processing support.
• Maintain the L&D environment and supplies in a cost-efficient manner.
