Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking a part-time campus nursing instructor to teach obstetrics, supervise students in classroom and clinical settings, and contribute to curriculum development. You will collaborate with faculty to assess students and ensure clinical competencies are met.

The role requires an active RN license and expertise in OB or related nursing areas, with a minimum four years of direct patient care experience. Per diem options and related benefits are included where applicable.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid, active license issued by the State Board of Registered Nursing.
• Master of Nursing or higher with coursework in nursing or education, administration, OB, Pediatrics, Psychiatry or Medical/Surgical.

Responsibilities

• Teach obstetrics nursing in classroom and clinical settings.
• Collaborate with faculty to develop, administer, and grade course materials and exams.
• Evaluate student performance and maintain attendance, grades, and clinical skills records.
• Participate in curriculum development, quality improvement, and program assessment.
• Orient and mentor new faculty in theory and clinical instruction.
• Incorporate adult learning principles and technology in teaching methods.
• Stay current with obstetrics nursing practices, technologies, and safety regulations.
• Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and student advising.
• Ensure clinical assignments meet learning objectives and facility requirements.
