Job summary

Together Women’s Health’s Comprehensive Woman’s Care is seeking a part-time Medical Scribe to join our team. Scribes work closely with Providers to support daily workflow and accurate documentation.

Ideal candidates have EHR experience (Athena preferred), can type 45 wpm, OB/GYN terminology knowledge, reliable transportation, and strong organization with attention to detail and multitasking ability.

Qualifications

• EHR experience required; Athena preferred.
• Typing speed of 45 words per minute or faster.
• Knowledge of OB-GYN terminology is preferred.
• Reliable transportation required for the role.
• Strong judgment and attention to detail are essential.
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented, with multitasking ability.
• Proactive, self-motivated team player.
• Prior OB-GYN office experience is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of medical office experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors by facilitating daily workflow, including sending orders.
• Enter diagnosis codes and update patient records.
• Send patient education to the patient portal.
• Transmit medications to the pharmacy.
• Generate tasks and messages for office staff as needed.
• Support back-office duties such as updating medical history and medications.
