Job summary

Corewell Health in Grand Rapids is seeking a part-time Clinical Nutrition Technician to support the Nutrition Services Department. You will prepare meals, serve patients, operate cash registers, and maintain sanitary standards in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will work variable shifts with weekends as needed, and participate in quality monitoring activities. The role requires high school diploma and customer-facing experience, with EMR awareness preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 2 years of relevant experience in customer-facing service (phone or in-person).
• Experience with elevated diet and nutrition software, time management, organizational and risk mitigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains serving lines and food items.
• Operates cash register and handles payments with accuracy.
• Maintains sanitary conditions and cleans dishes, equipment, and surfaces.
• Delivers patient trays and verifies patient information for correct delivery.
• Participates in quality monitoring activities and reports malfunctions.
