Job summary

Corewell Health's Nutrition Patient Services team in Grand Rapids is seeking a part-time position (24 hours per week) to support patient meal service. Responsibilities include answering phones in the call center, assembling patient trays, delivering and picking up meals, and managing stock with a focus on sanitation and teamwork.

No prior experience is required; you will be fully trained and supported to develop your career. Evening shift and every-other weekend are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• CRT-Work Permit required for high school student employees.

Responsibilities

• Operate and clean dishwashing equipment per guidelines.
• Wash, sanitize, store, and restock dishware and serving equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe dish room and routine cleaning tasks.
• Retrieve soiled dish racks from patient units and utility rooms.
• Empty trash and manage waste and recycling.
• Cross-train in multiple areas including dishwashing and stocking.
• Assist with patient meal tray assembly and delivery as needed.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, infection prevention, and PPE guidelines.
• Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork to support daily operations.
• Communicate effectively via work iPhones and iPads.
