Job summary

The Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City is seeking a Teaching Assistant for B’nai Jehudah CDC in Overland Park. This part‑time role supports classrooms for infants and toddlers, collaborates with teachers to supervise children, and helps maintain a safe, engaging learning environment. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Experience working with children (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide for the health and safety of all children in the school
• Treat children with dignity, respect, and compassion at all times
• Support teachers through lesson‑plan implementation, daily cleaning tasks, and supervision of children
• Cultivate and maintain a positive relationship with parents
• Maintain KDHE requirements in classrooms at all times
• Attend training and professional development opportunities as assigned
