Qualifications

Knowledge of university policies and procedures, especially course evaluation.
Experience in healthcare preferred.
Enhanced customer service knowledge.
Ability to acquire extensive knowledge of university policies and procedures.
Ability to understand, interpret, and apply established procedures and guidelines.
Ability to counsel BSNA applicants and others concerning prerequisite courses.

Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of BSNA applicants who need to complete prerequisite courses (not GE).
Track all BSNA applicants from the first advising appointment through prerequisite completion.
Review the Registrar’s initial program evaluation to identify remaining prerequisites and facilitate completion.
Answer routine applicant questions about prerequisite courses, scheduling, and registration; collaborate with advisors and refer course equivalency questions as needed.
Record prerequisite course completion on the BSNA Tracking Unity Form in OnBase.
Notify nursing advisor when a prerequisite course is not completed with the required minimum grade.
Document applicant contacts and prerequisite course completion plans in Colleague.
Inform BSNA applicants of the process to have official transcripts sent to the Office of the Registrar and verify receipt in Colleague XIA.
Track prerequisite course completion for reporting to various departments to determine progression toward BSNA readiness.
Guide applicants on how prerequisites may be completed, prioritizing TESU’s 4-Week Accelerated Terms/Courses.
Use an established course selection algorithm to assist applicants in selecting the best-fit prerequisite course.
Communicate with BSNA applicants during completion with periodic check-ins and updates; coordinate team outreach.
As applicants complete all prerequisites, notify the Office of the Registrar and nursing advisors for application finalization.
Provide real-time data to Admissions, nursing school, Registrar, and the Provost to support enrollment goals.
