Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Program Coordinator for the School of Nursing in Trenton, NJ. The role supports course coordination, faculty guidance, and curriculum development within a collaborative academic environment.

The position requires a Master’s in Nursing, nursing education experience, and credentials such as BLS; ACLS/NRP/PALS may be needed depending on assignment. A strong emphasis is placed on data reporting, program evaluation, and policy development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing required.
• Two years of experience in nursing education.
• AHA BLS provider credential (Healthcare Provider)
• ACLS/NRP/PALS may be required depending on assignment and must be obtained within 6 months of hire if applicable

Responsibilities

• Functions as a member of assigned organization and school committees; assist the Dean in student guidance, performance appraisal, discipline, and policies.
• Coordinate and monitor administrative, financial, and operational documents, records, reports, schedules, and training materials.
• Assist with course coordination with faculty to support course delivery and program operations.
• Utilize instructional strategies and technologies; guide faculty in clinical or lab settings to facilitate learning.
• Plan, develop, implement and evaluate educational activities to meet student learning needs.
• Assist in acquiring facilities and resources to meet department goals and evaluate clinical facilities against objectives.
• Monitor data collection for course/clinical evaluations, student surveys, exams, and accreditation metrics.
• Prepare required reports for internal/external stakeholders and support evidence-based decision-making and QA.
