Job summary

Jersey College in Florida seeks an experienced Registered Nurse with an MSN or higher to join our faculty as a Nursing Instructor for RN/LPN programs. The role involves classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical instruction, and requires guiding students toward clinical competence.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of RN experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to student success.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience.
• Experience with classroom, lab, simulation, or clinical instruction preferred.
• Experience with clinical evaluation and competency-based education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students as assigned.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute sites.
• Create a positive learning environment and evaluate student performance and competency.
• Prepare accurate progress reports and maintain attendance records.
• Collaborate with faculty, administration, and clinical partners.
