Job summary

Jersey College is seeking a Nursing Instructor at the Jacksonville Campus to deliver classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students. The instructor will evaluate student performance and guide learners toward professional nursing practice.

The ideal candidate holds an MSN or higher nursing degree with an active RN license in the state and at least three years of recent nursing experience, including clinical teaching and student assessment.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to the nursing courses and clinical experiences being taught.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment for student growth.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence.
• Maintain accurate attendance and progress records.
