Qualifications

• MSN is required.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of direct patient care experience in Med/Surg or critical care nursing.

Part Time Nursing Instructor: Are you an experienced nurse who wants to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals Highland Community College is looking for Part Time Nursing Instructors to join our team in the Spring of 2027 This part time position is scheduled for approximately 10 14 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Teach nursing students in classroom lab or clinical setting with collaborative simulation experiences with opportunities available in Freeport Rockford Monroe WI and surrounding areasSupervise students during clinical rotations at local healthcare facilitiesAssess clinical performance and provide feedback to help students achieve course and program learning outcomes

What Were Looking for

• Active unencumbered Registered Nurse RN license in Illinois or Wisconsin if clinical oversight takes place in Wisconsin
• Master of Science in Nursing MSN is required
• Minimum of 2 3 years of recent direct patient care experience in Medsurg or critical care nursing
• Strong communication organization and a passion for teaching
