Job summary

Oregon Coast Community College seeks a part-time Nursing Clinical Instructor to teach off-site clinicals and on-site labs for nursing courses. Fall and future terms will be offered face-to-face, with pay dependent on credentials and experience.

Responsibilities include creating an inclusive classroom, fostering student success, and maintaining professional standards across multiple OCC campuses, with occasional evenings and weekends as needed. Travel between sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing and currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s in nursing program.
• Current, unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in Oregon.
• Minimum three years of recent, demonstrated registered nursing experience.
• Current healthcare provider CPR certification and immunizations as required; relevant certifications in field are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach skill lab procedures per established protocols and monitor student competencies.
• Maintain a safe, functional skills lab environment and address learning needs.
• Supervise and document student clinical experiences and provide professional clinical instruction.
