Zusammenfassung

Hondros College of Nursing in Independence, OH seeks a part-time on-site Clinical Instructor to teach within the Nursing program at our Independence campus. No prior teaching experience necessary; training provided.

You will balance clinical instruction with ongoing work in the field to nurture the next generation of nurses. The role offers part-time scheduling up to 24 hours per week, with a competitive hourly rate and Saturday premium pay, plus continuing education benefits and retirement

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Three or more years full-time work experience as an RN (or part-time equivalent).
• Active Ohio RN license that has never been encumbered.
• Ability to provide official transcripts for each degree earned.
• Current American Heart Association compliant Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Aufgaben

• Instruct students off campus at our clinical sites and/or in a lab setting.
• Promote a positive learning environment and work collaboratively to assure full instruction of the clinical component of the curriculum.
• Create a high level of student engagement by planning the student clinical experience.
• Supervise and orient students to the clinical site and applicable policies.
• Evaluate each student’s achievement and progress, providing feedback.
• Participate as a member of the Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees.
