Qualifications

• Education: BSN or MSN from an accredited program.
• RN licensure current and unencumbered in Virginia.
• Minimum of two years of direct client care as an RN.
• Certification in a specialty area related to the clinical assignment (BSN required alternative credential).
• Current certification as a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) or CNEcl.

Responsibilities

• Plan, teach, and evaluate students in designated clinical areas.
• Supervise nursing students during clinical activities.
• Review clinical objectives and ensure alignment with course requirements.
• Select patient assignments and learning opportunities to support course objectives.
• Provide supervision and guidance in applying the nursing process.
• Conduct pre- and post-clinical conferences and complete midterm/final evaluations.
