Ferrum College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Clinical Faculty member for the Nursing Division. The role involves planning, teaching, supervising, and evaluating nursing students in clinical settings to ensure safe, quality patient care.

The position is part-time, 12 hours per week, with an hourly rate of $37.00. The successful candidate reports to the Director of Nursing and collaborates with course faculty to align clinical objectives with course requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Current RN licensure in Virginia or multi-state licensure.
• Minimum two years of direct client care as an RN.
• Possession of an additional credential to meet clinical faculty requirements if BSN.
• Evidence of teaching or supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, teach, supervise, and evaluate nursing students in designated clinical settings.
• Review clinical objectives with students and align with course requirements.
• Provide supervision and guidance in applying the nursing process and QSEN standards.
• Coordinate with course faculty on rotation plans and agency placements.
• Maintain professional development and participate in meetings and organizations.
