Job summary

Mirage Post Acute seeks an RN for part-time healthcare duties to support the Director of Nursing Services in directing day-to-day nursing activities at the long-term care facility.

This role involves updating policies, ensuring manuals are current, coordinating nursing with other resident services, attending committee meetings, making rounds with physicians, and admitting, transferring, and discharging residents to ensure ongoing quality care.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active RN license in California.
• CPR certification required.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing Services in directing the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility.
• Participate in developing, maintaining and updating written policies and procedures for the nursing service.
• Ensure Nursing Service Procedures Manual is current and compliant with regulations.
• Make written and oral reports to the Director of Nursing Services as needed.
• Participate in the facility's quality assurance program and nursing service committee activities.
• Inform and coordinate with physicians, residents and families regarding care plans and changes.
• admit, transfer, and discharge residents; complete accident/incident reports as necessary.
