Mirage Post Acute in Lancaster, CA is seeking a part-time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to lead the nursing services in the facility. The LVN will supervise nursing assistants, ensure adherence to policies, and participate in care planning and documentation.

The role emphasizes medication administration, patient care coordination, quality assurance participation, and collaboration with physicians and departments to maintain a safe, compassionate environment for residents.

Formación

• Must possess a Nursing Degree/LVN program graduate and be licensed as LVN/LPN in California.
• Current CPR certification.
• English language proficiency.
• Ability to lead and supervise nursing assistants and staff.
• Knowledge of Nursing Service policies and procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with written policies and procedures and participate in QA activities.
• Participate in discharge planning and updating resident plans as required.
• Administer medications as ordered and verify resident identity before dosing.
• Maintain accurate nursing records, charting, and communication with physicians and departments.
