Job summary

Lanier Technical College is seeking an Adjunct Nurse Aide Instructor to deliver didactic and clinical instruction across multiple campuses. The position is part-time, non-benefits-eligible, and paid as a lump sum based on contact hours.

Reporting to the Nurse Aide Coordinator, you will prepare curricula, teach online and on-site classes, and assess student progress. A diploma in a medical field, GA nursing license, and one year of relevant experience are required; background check will be

Qualifications

Diploma in medical field or health science from a regionally accredited college or university.
One year of relevant work experience.
Valid GA Nursing License.
Demonstrated competencies in specific course content (coursework, license, certification, etc.)
Ability to obtain GA Nurse Aide "Train the Trainer" certification within 60 days of hire, if do not already have.

Responsibilities

Adjunct faculty responsibilities centered on didactic and/or clinical instruction to include preparing and teaching classes as assigned.
Allied Health faculty and/or instructional staff must direct student learning and assess student progress in achieving the requirements of the program in the appropriate learning domains.
Classes will be taught online and/or in the classroom setting among multiple campuses; day and evening classes are available.
