Job summary

Southern Crescent Technical College is seeking an Adjunct Instructor Nurse Aide at Jasper County Center to deliver credit-bearing instruction in nursing assistant theory and practice. The role is part-time and will require meeting accreditation standards and maintaining documentation.

Under general supervision, the instructor will prepare lesson plans, evaluate student progress, and support recruitment and job placement efforts.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Georgia Practical Nursing License and have a minimum of one year of nursing experience.
• Preferred qualifications include BSN/ASN and teaching experience at the post-secondary level.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans for classroom instruction to meet program goals and accreditation standards.
• Evaluate students’ progress and maintain required documentation and reports.
• Manage budget requests and ensure safety and proper use of training area.
• Assist with recruitment, retention and job placement efforts.
