Job summary

Southern Crescent Technical College invites applications for an Instructor, Nurse Aide for a 10-month term. You will design and deliver classroom instruction for credited nursing courses, aligning with state and institutional standards and accreditation requirements.

Responsibilities include evaluating student progress, managing supplies and budgets, ensuring safety, and coordinating with staff to support recruitment and student placement.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Georgia Practical Nursing License and have a minimum of one year of nursing experience.
• Any qualified applicant hired without a Train the Trainer Workshop attendance certificate from the Georgia Health partnership must obtain the certificate within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans for classroom instruction in credited technical/occupational courses.
• Evaluate students’ progress toward curriculum goals and objectives.
• Request and maintain supplies and equipment and prepare budget requests.
• Maintain program certification requirements, as appropriate.
• Prepare and maintain required documentation and reports related to accreditation and licensing.
• Ensure safety and security in the training area.
