Job summary

Medi-Weightloss of Orange, CT is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a part-time role serving our Orange location. The position emphasizes delivering high-quality medical care with a focus on weight-management, preventive care, and patient education.

The successful candidate will perform history taking, physical exams, order labs, document in EMR, and collaborate under a supervising physician. Flexible hours and supportive team culture welcome balance.

Qualifications

• NP or PA licensed with active credentials.
• DEA license required.
• Experience in primary care or weight-management is a plus.
• Ability to work part-time in Orange, CT.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and review patient's medical and psychosocial history information relevant to patient care.
• Conduct physical examinations according to company guidelines.
• Order and review laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures, including ECGs.
• Deliver Preventive Medicine Counseling, Program counseling, and Product and Supplement Education.
• Adhere to prescription guidelines as per the collaborative agreement with supervising physician.
• Maintain EMR documentation for patient care and medication management.
• Review patient progress and manage patient care accordingly.
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities as necessary.
• Conduct follow-up calls to patients to discuss progress and address concerns.
