Medi-Weightloss of Warwick, RI is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a part-time/PRN role at our Warwick location. You will perform clinical assessments, manage patient care, and collaborate with a supervising physician to deliver evidence-based weight management services.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license is required.
• DEA Certification is preferred.
• Experience in weight management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and review patient's medical and psychosocial history.
• Conduct physical examinations according to guidelines.
• Order and review laboratory studies and ECGs.
• Deliver preventive medicine counseling and program education.
• Adhere to prescription guidelines under supervising physician.
• Maintain EMR documentation per company standards.
• Review patient progress and manage care.
• Facilitate referrals to other clinicians when needed.
• Conduct follow-up calls to discuss progress and concerns.
