Job summary

The Pines at Placerville Healthcare Center in Placerville, CA is seeking a Part-Time NOC Shift Registered Nurse (RN) to support our nursing team overnight. The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, and capable of working independently while collaborating with CNAs, LVNs, RNs, and physicians to maintain continuity of care.

Responsibilities include administering medications, performing assessments, documenting care, and responding promptly to changes in residents’ conditions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, active California RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills.
• Ability to meet physical and job-related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care.
• Assess residents and respond to changes in condition.
• Notify physicians and responsible parties of significant changes.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders, care plans, and facility policies.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Perform vital signs, assessments, IV starts, and specimen collection as ordered.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Monitor residents requiring increased observation or clinical attention.
• Promote resident dignity, safety, comfort, and quality of life.
