Job summary

Augusta Health is seeking a Part-time Nursing Supervisor (RN) to oversee inpatient nursing unit operations, focusing on staffing and emergency response coordination. This role serves as a clinical resource for staff and physicians to ensure patient needs are met per policy and procedure.

The ideal candidate will hold a Virginia RN license with at least three years of acute care experience and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills under pressure.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed or eligible to be licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
• Registered nurse with at least three years of acute care experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• CPR required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Strong clinical skills, ability to work under stress, strong communication skills and organizational skills a must

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical operations of inpatient nursing units related to staffing needs.
• Facilitate communication between nursing units/departments.
• Respond to emergency situations and coordinate interventions.
• Serve as an Administrative resource for off hour staff (nights and weekends)
