Augusta Health is seeking a Part-time Nursing Supervisor (RN) to oversee inpatient nursing unit operations, focusing on staffing and emergency response coordination. This role serves as a clinical resource for staff and physicians to ensure patient needs are met per policy and procedure.
The ideal candidate will hold a Virginia RN license with at least three years of acute care experience and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills under pressure.
The Part-time Nursing Supervisor is an RN that will oversee the clinical operations of inpatient nursing units related to staffing needs, facilitating communication between nursing units/departments. Responds to emergency situations throughout the facility and coordinates and prioritizes interventions during these situations. Serves as a clinical resource person to staff and physicians to meet patient's needs in accordance to policy and procedure. Responsible for operations of all departments during off hour operations. Serves as an Administrative resource for off hour staff (nights and weekends).
