Job summary

U-Haul is seeking friendly, motivated people for a part-time nights and weekend Customer Service Representative position. You will be the face of U-Haul’s service, assisting customers, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and using U-Scan technology to dispatch and return equipment.

The role includes two hands-on interviews, a $100 hiring bonus, and a $300 cash bonus upon completion of equipment inspection certification. On-the-job education and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up trucks and trailers; inspect equipment.
• Educate customers about products and services; prepare invoices.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring; propane fill and forklift operation (certifications offered).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
