Job summary

Ascension seeks a part-time Night Shift Registered Nurse for Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin, TX. The nurse will provide care in the Observation department, implement care plans, monitor patient conditions, and coordinate with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care.

Requirements include TX RN license, BLS within 30 days of hire, and a nursing diploma or equivalent. 1 year Med Surg experience preferred; competitive benefits available.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Care planning and execution in the Observation department.
• Monitor and communicate real-time clinical changes to the care team.
• Coordinate disciplines to ensure holistic patient care.
• Execute physician and nursing directives with accuracy.
• Manage discharge planning for safe transitions.
