Ascension's Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for the NICU on the night shift (3 x 12-hour shifts, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) with rotating weekends. You will provide direct patient care, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and document care in the EHR to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role requires an RN license in Texas, BLS, and NRP credentials within one month of hire; STABLE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire or transfer date.
• Neonatal Resuscitation credential (AAP) within 1 month of hire or transfer date.
• RN credentialed by the Texas Board of Nursing prior to hire date or transfer date.
• STABLE program specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver RN patient care in accordance with clinical protocols to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team to support seamless, patient-centered outcomes.
• Perform accurate clinical documentation in EHR to support continuity of care and quality improvement.
• Assess patient conditions, implement care plans, and support discharge planning for safe transitions.
