Job summary

Oneida Health in Oneida, NY is seeking a Part-time RN Nursing Supervisor to provide administrative supervision on two twelve-hour night shifts. You will oversee RNs, LPNs and support staff, directing patient care and improving care quality within a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate of Nursing, NY RN license, and 1 year of nursing experience with supervisory responsibilities in an acute setting. Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred; BLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate of Nursing (Required).
• New York RN license (Required).
• Bachelor’s of Nursing preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Nursing: 1 year experience required; supervisory experience in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative supervision and direction in patient care settings, ensuring quality care delivery.
• Supervise RNs, LPNs, and support nursing staff to maintain high standards of care.
• Foster collaboration and effective communication within the care team.
• Serve as point of contact for clinical, administrative, HR, and operational issues; address concerns and drive resolutions.
• Demonstrate leadership in directing administrative and operational activities related to patient care.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
