Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Registered Nurse for the Medical Management Unit (MMU) on nights, 24 hours per shift, in a part-time capacity. The RN will practice under the MA Nurse Practice Act and Lahey Clinic guidelines, delivering high-quality patient-centered care.

Ideal candidates hold an MA RN license, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of acute or sub-acute nursing experience, with strong clinical and leadership abilities to support care coordination.

Qualifications

• Graduate of state approved and/or accredited School of Nursing.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Massachusetts.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in acute or sub-acute care.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient care with organized, coordinated delivery of quality care.
• Develop culturally competent plans of care with identified problems and outcomes.
• Coordinate and evaluate care across the continuum and collaborate with the health care team.
• Delegate and supervise in accordance with Massachusetts Nurse Practice Act and ANA principles.
• Mentor and teach staff; participate in quality improvement activities.
