Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health, Inc. is seeking an experienced Staff Registered Nurse for the Cardiac ICU at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. This role supports patient care across the tertiary unit, under supervision of nurse leadership, delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing.

Schedule is 24 hours per week, nights, with every third weekend and holiday rotation. Candidates should have MA RN license, BLS, and at least one year of acute care experience; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved and/or accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Massachusetts.
• BLS certification.
• At least one year of RN experience in acute or sub-acute care.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient care with organized delivery of quality care.
• Develop culturally competent care plans addressing patient problems and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about illness and treatment, including preventative measures.
• Coordinate care across health team and ensure continuity of care.
