Responsibilities

• Provides competent compassionate nursing care based on the nursing process.
• Collaborates with professionals and directs support staff to maintain standards and procedures.
• Maintains clinical knowledge and CEU requirements for nursing eligibility.
• Administers medications per policy without errors.
• Assesses patient needs, plans and implements care, and documents outcomes.
• Provides education to patients and families and updates them regularly.
• Maintains BCLS certification and attends annual education events.
• Performs unit-specific competencies and safety checks.
