Job summary

Atrium Health Lake Norman is seeking a part-time RN for the Maternity unit, focusing on labor and delivery and postpartum care. The role involves 12-hour night shifts, three per six-week schedule, and responsibilities across patient assessment, care planning, and education.

The nurse will contribute to a multidisciplinary team delivering compassionate, evidence-based obstetric care in a family-centered environment, with a emphasis on safety, quality initiatives, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• RN with current license and BLS certification.
• Active RN license in state(s) of practice.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Utilize nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Administer medications and therapies per protocol.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and ensure patient safety.
