Qualifications

Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services

Responsibilities

Engages in unit councils and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practice.
Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans with the care team.
Upholds a culture of safety and quality outcomes.
May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols.
Communicates effectively and delegates appropriately within the team.
Pursues ongoing professional development and maintains required certifications.
May float to other units within the service area as needed.
