Job summary

Georgetown Behavioral Health Institute is hiring Part-Time Registered Nurses for nights at our Georgetown, TX facility. RNs provide general and psychiatric nursing care to hospitalized patients, supporting the hospital's treatment program and ensuring safety.

Shifts are 12 hours, 7pm-7am. Responsibilities include direct patient care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, accurate charting, and adherence to clinical guidelines.

Qualifications

• RN license valid in Texas in good standing
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience, preferably in behavioral health
• Must be 21 years old or older
• Bi‑lingual English/Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including social and emotional needs and medication supervision
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals to plan and deliver care
• Maintain a safe environment on the unit
• Document patient information accurately in charts and records
• Administer and monitor psychotropic medications and other treatments
• Assist patients in understanding treatment and engage in groups and activities
• Conduct intake assessments and plan nursing care for patients
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to ensure quality care
