IntelliResume is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Special Care Nursery at Hackensack Meridian Health in Edison, NJ. This part-time night shift position focuses on delivering direct, high-quality patient care and collaborating with an experienced healthcare team.

The role requires an active New Jersey RN license, six months of nursing experience or Nurse Residency participation, and BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate in Nursing or diploma required.
• BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three years of hire.
• Six months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Identify patient/family education needs based on age and disease.
• Develop a plan of care with strategies and interventions for expected outcomes.
• Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care.
• Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Administer medications utilizing advanced bar-scanning technologies.
• Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes.
• Identify ethical issues in the practice setting and address them with the team.
