Job summary

IntelliResume is seeking a Registered Nurse in Neuro Critical Care to provide direct care to complex patients in Edison, NJ, within Hackensack Meridian Health.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with an interdisciplinary team, administer medications, educate patients and families, and ensure safe, high-quality outcomes during night shifts.

This full‑time role requires NJ RN licensure and BLS/CPR, with six months of relevant experience or Nurse Residency participation.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in New Jersey
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire
• Six months of relevant nursing experience or Nurse Residency Program participation

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Perform age- and disease-specific assessments independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Identify patient/family education needs based on age and disease.
• Develop a plan of care with strategies and interventions to attain expected outcomes.
• Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care.
• Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Administer medications utilizing bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
• Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes.
• Identify ethical issues in the practice setting and address them with the team.
