Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for night shift responsibilities in Le Mars, IA. This part-time role offers 24 weekly hours and a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

The NA provides resident-centered care under RN supervision, including daily living tasks and basic health support. Applicants should have CNA certification (or be in progress) and be at least 16 years old; prior long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or be enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification within four months.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16; prior CNA experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and recording vital signs.
• Assist with transfers, range of motion, mobility, and psychosocial support.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes in condition to the charge nurse.
