RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical Unit VI at New Brunswick. The role is part-time with a night shift, involving comprehensive patient assessments, medication administration, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, safe patient care.

You will provide patient education, document in EPIC, and participate in rounds to support smooth transitions of care while pursuing growth opportunities within a supportive

Qualificações

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing strongly preferred or within 5 years of hire.
• National Board Certification and ACLS preferred or within 6 months of employment.
• 1–2 years RN acute care experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) such as EPIC.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes early.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care.
• Collaborate with physicians and providers for timely, coordinated care decisions.
• Educate patients and families clearly and compassionately.
• Document accurately in the EMR to promote continuity and safety.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to improve communication and transitions of care.
• Support a collaborative team culture and pursue ongoing professional growth.
