Job summary

Bon Secours seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Behavioral Health Unit at St. Mary's Hospital. This part-time night shift (7:30 pm–8:00 am) offers compassionate psychiatric nursing care and development of patient care plans.

You will assess patients, administer meds and IV fluids, document changes, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment. BSN preferred; RN licensure required; 1 year of RN experience, BH experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state; BSN preferred.
• 1 year of RN experience; Behavioral Health experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills; ability to develop care plans.
• Ability to administer medications, insulin, IV fluids, and document thoroughly.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per plan of care and monitor progress.
• Assess and document patient conditions; report changes as needed.
• Administer medications, insulin, IV fluids; document thoroughly.
• Inspect wounds, change dressings, assist with hygiene.
• Collaborate with providers and health team to achieve outcomes.
• Other duties as assigned.
