Job summary

The PCA will monitor vital signs, report changes promptly, and help keep patients safe using gait belts and alarms. A caring demeanor and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires current Basic Life Support certification.
• Experience with bedside patient care.
• Ability to read basic math.
• Knowledge of safety and infection control.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meals, mobility, baths, and linen changes.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes promptly to RN.
• Assist with positioning and ensuring patient safety.
• Support the bedside RN with clinical tasks as needed.
