Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer with patrol and customer service responsibilities in Culver City, CA. The role involves protecting clients across tech/media/telecom sites while delivering exceptional service to employees and visitors.

You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with professionalism. A valid driver’s license and security experience are required; CPR/First Aid and additional licenses are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license in the state of job location.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• A driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials, and assist with visitor management.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Maintain professional communication with site personnel and the Allied Universal team; complete activity logs and incident reports.
