Job summary

Selah House in Anderson, IN is seeking a Staff Nurse for a part-time night shift (6pm-6:30am) on weekends to provide compassionate care for adolescent and adult women with eating disorders. The role works under the Director of Nursing in a residential, inpatient and PHP setting.

Requires an Indiana nursing license (RN or LPN), an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing, and about 1 year of clinical experience; psychiatric nursing is highly preferred. Valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of Nursing or higher.
• Current Indiana Nursing License (RN or LPN).
• 1 year of clinical hospital experience preferred; psychiatric nursing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes comprehensive nursing assessments during intake and develops a treatment plan.
• Administers medications as ordered and refills per physician orders.
• Reviews medical records and communicates findings to the Medical Director.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and adheres to universal precautions.
• Documents accurately and timely; participates in staff meetings and trainings.
• Provides shift hand-off information between shifts and supports discharge planning.
