Job summary

Experience Senior Living is seeking a Medication Assistant for a part-time night shift in North Port, FL. The role involves medication reminders, administration within state guidelines, and coordination with the on-site health team.

You will maintain resident records in our digital platform, perform room checks, assist with resident care, and respond to emergencies while upholding compassionate service and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• CNA certification required.
• Medication certification as required by state guidelines.
• First Aid and CPR certification may be required.
• ESL medication competency on hire per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication reminders and administer as allowed by state guidelines.
• Order, receive, and verify medications; liaise with pharmacy as needed.
• Maintain resident records in the digital platform daily.
• Perform room visits/checks; assist with resident care when needed.
• Respond promptly to resident requests and emergencies.
• Monitor safety and communicate changes to supervisor on duty.
