Job summary

Meridian Senior Living in Florida is seeking a part-time Medication Technician to join our care team. The primary duty is to administer medications to residents following regulatory guidelines, while maintaining accurate care records and communicating changes in resident conditions.

You will interact with residents, families, staff, and vendors to ensure safety and satisfaction, and work a mixed schedule that includes some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current and valid Medication Aide/Technician Certification.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with medications and the elderly.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must meet state licensing requirements and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering medications to residents following regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain proper care records and report changes in residents’ conditions.
