Job summary

Kansas Health System in Olathe Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech / CNA for part-time, night shifts (7pm–7:30am) with weekend rotation. Required: high school diploma or GED, CNA license or Gold Standard Intern, fundamentals of nursing, and 18 months in care roles. BLS certification within 14 days is also required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CNA license or equivalent program completion is required.
• Fundamentals of nursing courses preferred/required.
• At least 18 months in a patient care role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges, and admit preparation.
• Maintain a safe environment, infection control, and supply management.
• Record vital signs, hygiene, nutrition support, and I&O as directed.
• Respond to call lights promptly and communicate with nurses.
