Job summary

Olathe Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech for the ICU/CCU at Olathe Hospital. Open availability Monday through Friday, plus one weekend per month, with three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with patients, families and staff.
• Proven ability to perform direct patient care and support nursing staff.
• Strong time management and prioritization in a fast-paced unit.
• Willingness to cross-train and adapt to unit needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission, transfers and discharges; prepare IV pump, bed, and white board updates.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment; infection control, equipment maintenance, and supply handling.
