Olathe Health's Olathe Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech for Youth Candidates. This role is limited to CNAs aged 16–18 currently enrolled in high school; candidates must be able to work 24 hours in a 4-week cycle and perform delegated tasks from the RN with compassionate, culturally sensitive care.

Responsibilities include vital signs, ADLs, I&O documentation, and maintaining a safe, clean patient environment. A CNA license is required and BLS is required within 14 days of hire.

Competenze

• Must be a CNA and enrolled in high school or have a CNA license
• Ability to perform basic nursing tasks under RN supervision
• Demonstrates good hand hygiene, safety and patient comfort practices

• Assist with admission, transfers, and discharges under RN guidance
• Maintains a clean, safe patient environment and proper infection control
• Record intake/output and monitor vital signs and glucose as directed
• Respond to call lights promptly and communicate changes to the nurse
