Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Completion of approved Personal Care Aide program per state regulations.
Strong communication and writing skills.
Able to work with all levels of personnel and residents.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.
CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living.
Perform housekeeping duties in resident rooms and common areas.
Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
Move residents to dining areas and activities; monitor attendance and well-being.
Maintain confidentiality and report status to appropriate personnel.
Provide emotional support during move-in transitions and orientation.
