The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, completion of an approved personal care aide program, ability to lift 50 lbs, CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days), and

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed approved personal care aide program per state regulations as applicable.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in-writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or willing to become certified within 60 days of hire.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, and push or carry 25 lbs.
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas.
• Respond to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Assist residents with move-in transition and provide emotional support.
• Communicate status and changes to the nursing team and supervisors.
